Deep South Metal Detecting Outings 2024

The History Hunt Club kicked off the year with a couple two-day outings in Mississippi and Louisiana. We experienced a nearly full range of weather during the outings. The two small groups had a blast and made some great discoveries while metal detecting. Some of the highlights are pictured below. These include early coinage; Civil War bullets; buttons and artifacts and Native American artifacts. One of our members even eyeballed a large citrine faceted gemstone! We all had a blast and learned something in the process.
