England Expedition 2024

Pictured above is Phil from Virginia searching for the end of the rainbow!

Recently, I led five of our club members on a 10-day metal detecting expedition in England. Many coins and artifacts were recovered but there were three pieces that stood out above the rest. The extremely rare ancient Celtic gold coins pictured below were found during our outing by three of the participants. All discoveries are being recorded with the British Museum. It was a great outing with a great group of folks!
