October 2022 England Metal Detecting Outing

History Hunts hosted a small group of 7 dedicated metal detectorists for 10 days to search the history rich fields of England. The weather was nearly perfect, although the ground was a bit hard at times. Everyone in the group made amazing discoveries including two gold coins (one from 50BC and the other from the late 18th century). In addition, lots of hammered and milled silver coins as well as many artifacts ranging from Paleolithic to Georgian times. Our time there definitely flew by so we must have been having fun!
