A few members of the History Hunts Club gathered for three days of Civil War metal detecting on a number of very history rich farms. The weather and field conditions were nice, and we walked many miles. Some great discoveries were made. These included Civil War bullets, buttons and relics from both the Union and Confederate armies, colonial coins (large cents and a 1736 Spanish silver Pistareen) and relics including buttons and lots of other interesting artifacts. Enjoy the pictures of the notable finds.
